Gabriel Fauré - Après un rêve

近日學習一些法文歌曲, 法國歌曲的風格總令我想起他們的印象派藝術作品...
Après un rêve 是法國作曲家Gabriel Fauré其中一首很受人喜愛的歌曲。
Fauré師承聖桑，畢業後在巴黎各大教堂擔任管風琴手和詩班長，他只有在暑假期間才能抽空作曲。儘管他後來嚮喻盛名, 成為法國著名作曲家，但他的作品並沒有為他帶來財富，他的出版商只用了50法郎一首的價錢購買了他的作品的全面版權!
Fauré以聲樂和室樂聞名, 他的歌曲超過一百首。他發展了一個非常個人的風格而且對許多20世紀作曲家有相當的影響。 1905年Fauré被任命為音樂學院院長，但從那時起聽力越來越差而至失聰，在完全聽不見的情況下，1919年他還創作了「貝加馬斯克的假面Masques et bergamasques」的嬉遊曲，廣受青睞。他富有成效的教學，造就了法國新一代的音樂人才，如拉威爾（Maurice Ravel）、杜卡斯（Ducasse Roge）、柯克蘭（Charles Koechlin）。1924年十一月四日佛瑞逝於巴黎。
Après un rêve寫於1878年, 是他早期的作品。歌詞是由他的朋友，Romaine Bussine從一篇意大利語詩歌翻譯為法文而成。內容描述作者從一個美麗而浪漫的夢中甦醒，希望可以再次進入那"神秘之夜"，再次與她在那美麗而浪漫的夢境中遇上....

近日常常聽豎琴音樂, 特別找來 Après un rêve柔和的大提 琴與豎琴版本作背景音樂!

[版主回覆03/17/2008 22:51:00]In fact, I also prefer German lieder as French is very difficult to pronounce correctly! However, one still needs to study French songs seriously to enrich the repertoire.
