趣味數學 - 原來乘數是可以這樣的!

繼早年介紹過的蒙提霍爾問題 (Monty Hall Problem), 幻方 (Magic square),  約會的博弈論及有趣的年齡遊戲 的分享, 近日在網上看到這段只用劃線來計算乘數的方法，也十分有趣!  

 不過最奇怪的是影片中介紹這個是一個傳至古老東方中國的方法，但從未聽聞過，這讓我有點詫異及慚愧!  中國文化博大精深, 真的需要多一點認識!  
Maths secret revealed - big multiplications made easy
Ancient oriental Chinese (Maya / Japanese) multiplication method! You have to draw a line for each number. You draw from bottom left to top right for the first factor and from top left to bottom right for the second factor. Draw the lines with 45° angle this is the secret. The points of intersection must one below the other (it is essential). Have fun with the ancient oriental Chinese multiplication method.
