馬堤納達 Mattinata
Mattinata「馬堤納達」是義大利東部臨亞得里亞海的一個小鎮，位於哥咖諾國家公園（Gargano National
Park）內，是一個度假勝地，小鎮位於兩個小山丘中的斜坡上，三面環山，東面面臨亞得里亞海，海岸是白色的花崗岩峭壁，有相當美麗的海岸風光及沙灘。
如同義大利西邊拿波里地區的Sorriento「蘇連多」一般，有美麗的海岸風光，有峭壁、沙灘，馬堤納達有蘭花，蘇連多有柑橘，二個地方皆有描述當地風光與人文的優美歌曲，Mattinata 及 Torna A Sorriento（歸來吧!蘇連多），二首歌同樣有名。
義大利歌劇作家利歐卡瓦羅(Ruggero
Leoncavallo)和義大利男高音之父卡羅索（Enrico
Caruso）都是義大利拿波里人，在1904年利歐卡瓦羅應Gramophone唱片公司之邀為卡羅索寫歌時，他一定想過要寫一首有關拿波里地區的情歌，但仔細一看，拿波里地區美麗的景點皆已有前人作品，如拿波里塔朗泰拉Tarantella、散塔露淇亞Santa
Lucia、歸來吧！蘇連多Torna A Sorriento及卡布利島Isle of
Capri，他只好選擇與蘇連多有同樣美景的馬堤納達，而Mattinata今日與Torna A
Sorriento，也是佳話一篇.
