The Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP)小檔案

It is also referred to as ACUPAT (Army Combat Uniform PATtern) or Digital Camouflage ("digicam"), is the military camouflage pattern used in the United States Army's Army Combat Uniform. The color scheme of the Army Combat Uniform is composed of a gray (officially named Urban gray 501), tan (Desert sand 500) and sage green (Foliage green 502) digital pattern. The pattern is noticeable for its elimination of the color black.[8] Justification given for the omission of black was that black is a color not commonly found in nature. 


UCP 基本上只限於美国陸軍採用，在阿富汗由於軍人評價太差，所以大致已全部配發由MultiCam 改良而成的OCP.

美国陸軍以外的其他三大軍種(海軍、空軍、海軍陸戰隊) 亦各自發展自己的一系列迷彩戰鬥服，除空軍的比較近似UCP之外，其他的与UCP有較大分別，海軍及海軍陸戰隊的部分迷彩亦保留少量黑色色塊在內。
